I buy a computer I expect it to last me at least 3 years, with Apple care I know it will continue to work the same way it did the day I bought it. If it stops working, or is not working as expected I simply take it in to my apple store and they fix the problem. They will even re-image my drive (i need to back up my data)
Apple Care also gives you an 800 number to call if you need to ask a question about your Mac.

It was the same as buying thru apple. You still register the product thru apple but it was cheaper.

Buy it off of ebay where you can save 50% at least. However, it gives piece of mind plus an incentive for others to buy it used.

Way worth the money... not only Apple will fix your Mini if it break, Apple will even replace your Mini if its unfixable. 3 years of coverage is WONDERFUL... I cant imagine why some Retardos will rate this product anything but 5. its probably those people who cant afford a MAC.
