Works...sometimes Mar 23, 2008
By Sean MacRitchie If you don't carry this around, then you should have no problem with this. I like the looks but hate opening it to find the cards loose.

Nice little holder Mar 10, 2008
By J. K. Dresser This did just what I wanted. It nicely holds a couple memory cards. Mine are compact flash but it also holds others. The latch is a self hinge and I suspect will not last forever but that's what they make rubber bands for. It would be nice if they had included a snap on the key ring so that it can be snapped unto a ring of the camera bag. I found a snap on something else that I could use.

I prefer the Gepe card safe Apr 03, 2010

This little Sandisk case is handy and inexpensive, but I like the Gepe card safes. They're more secure and they close tighter. I'm a professional photographer, and I've tried them all.
Great for so many reasons Apr 16, 2011

I first got two of these as a give away from SanDisk at an event. I didn't use them for a while and almost forgot about them. I started using them for CF card storage and soon found that I loved them for a lot of reasons. First, I can put one on my keychain and have two extra CF cards when going out to shoot and I want to travel light.
I use 16GB cards but I shoot a Canon 50D in RAW so the file sizes are pretty large. I just happen to use SanDisk CF cards lol. I know there are larger capacity cards available but it scares me to have so much on one card. Anyway, I never have to worry that I'm going to run out of memory with two backup cards on hand.
I can also take cards with pictures on them to a friend's house or wherever I need to transport pictures in a compact lightweight package.
The seal is great and will with stand anything that I'll be putting it through. I'm not saying it'll survive being dropped in the ocean but I don't plan on going swimming with it. I'm confident that it will live through light rain and dust with no problem.
I've read on other sites where others have a concern with the hinge since it's made of the same material as the inside molding and actually is part of the inside. I've opened these things tons of times and never seen even the slightest difference in the hinge. It has never looked like it is wearing or getting loose. It's never looked like it's starting to tear or rip and actually looks like it did the day I got them.
The other thing I've read on other sites that some are worried about is the clasp that locks the top to the bottom being flimsy and possibly not holding well or wearing prematurely. Again, my experience with several of these has been the opposite of this. The clasp holds very well time after time. It is the perfect size to close the two halves and hold them tightly together without being too long and possibly getting snagged. The top and bottom are not made to withstand a large man standing on them and jumping up and down but then again if they were, they'd be much bigger and much more expensive.
Finally I don't think I can give a more ringing endorsement than the fact that after I filled the ones I got for free, I went and bought more.
